The Anochrome Group has strengthened its senior management team by appointing Mark Evans as its new Chief Financial Officer.
The leading surface coating specialist has appointed Mark to the newly-created role after it was acquired by private equity firm Endless LLP.
The 51-year-old has extensive experience operating at a senior level, occupying a range of roles over the last two decades.
More recently, Mark’s focus has turned to the manufacturing sector, most notably in automotive as the Chief Financial Officer to the Ricor Group and aerospace and defence as Group Finance Director at RLC Aerospace.
Mark said: “I’m delighted to be joining the Anochrome Group at what is a very important time in the company’s history, transitioning from a family-owned business to private equity ownership.
“The potential is vast and I will be working closely with other members of the Anochrome Group Board and Endless to ensure we maximise our expansion and growth opportunities over the coming months and years.
“Having worked in automotive and aerospace in my most recent roles, I was aware of the Anochrome Group and the excellent reputation it enjoys across the industries it specialises in.
“One of the big attractions to joining Anochrome – which I saw both during the recruitment process and in my first few days since I started with the business – is the passion, drive and enthusiasm which exists within the senior leadership team and I’m excited to be part of that.”

Anochrome has been established for 80 years, providing high-quality surface coatings, corrosion protection and thread-locking sealant services to a diverse customer base across a range of sectors, including automotive, construction, industrial fixings, motor sports, aerospace and renewables.
It operates from four sites in the UK, all based in the West Midlands, and one each in Poland and Czech Republic and is recognised for its technical expertise and commitment to quality and service.
