An access flooring manufacturer has forged a new partnership with a leading metal finishing specialist to help ensure its innovative solutions are protected from corrosion and deterioration for at least half a century.
Isaac H Grainger & Sons, based in Cradley Heath, has selected Anochrome Ltd to coat and protect all its pedestals and fixings used in raised access flooring systems.
Anochrome is using its industry-leading zinc plating, zinc nickel plating and e-cote processes and coatings to ensure each part is fully protected from corrosion and weathering.
Isaac Grainger pedestals are manufactured to meet PSA Standards, which guarantee components for 50 years.

Raised floors allow for the flexible installation and maintenance of services such as cabling, drainage and ventilation, while managing spillages and enhancing airflow.
Isaac Grainger is a sixth-generation, family-run manufacturer with over 160 years of experience. It is the sole UK manufacturer of flooring pedestals and accessories.
Last year the business entered the consumer DIY market for the first time with the launch of the Swift Leveller, a support solution for garden buildings and sheds which removes the need for groundworks or heavy labour.
This innovation helped the business win the Manufacturing Champion award at the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Awards last year.
Isaac Grainger’s products have been used within notable buildings across the country, including The Cube in Birmingham and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
