Inlex secures exclusive Nylok license

Threadlocking and sealing specialist Inlex Locking has entered into a new exclusive partnership with advanced patching giant Nylok.

Inlex has further increased its capabilities by signing licenses that cover Nylok’s Tuflok®, NySeal® and NySeal 2.0® patching systems across the UK, Poland and Czech Republic.

Inlex is the sole UK company to hold the coveted license, which allows it to apply some of Nylok’s most popular and innovative solutions on specialist machinery at its Wolverhampton facilities.

The license also allows for the products to be used by Inlex’s sister companies Anocote Czech Republic and Anocote Polska.

Founded in 1942, Nylok is a value-added solutions provider of resin, adhesive and lubricant coatings for threaded fastener applications.

Meanwhile, Inlex, part of the Anochrome Group, provides a comprehensive range of threadlocking and sealant products for today’s high-tech fastening applications, serving a variety of sectors including automotive, off-highway and construction.

Kev Walton, Group Thread locking, Sealing & Purchasing Director at Inlex, said: “We are delighted to have secured this exclusive partnership with Nylok, one of the most respected names in the advanced patching world.

“Inlex and Nylok hold many shared values, including a commitment to excellence and technological advancement, so it’s great to be working together.

“For customers looking to keep their fasteners safely in position, Nylok systems are the ideal choice for critical applications.

“Adding Tuflok®, NySeal® and NySeal 2.0® systems to our repertoire will improve our offering to both new and existing customers, allowing for continued growth of the Inlex business.”

Tuflok® – also known as Nylon Blue Patch – is the world’s most widely used polyamide locking product and is used in a variety of applications where adjustment during assembly or end use is required. It is reusable up to five times and creates a resistance to vibration and loosening.

NySeal®, meanwhile, creates a gasket-type seal, preventing leakage of fluids and gases under pressure. The coating is permanently fused on the bearing surface of the fastener.

NySeal 2.0® is a under head sealant. It is durable and meets sealing requirements after multiple installations. It allows for a more consistent tightening strategy since the material does not squeeze out of the joint.

Kev added: “We look forward to a successful partnership and our sales team are on hand to offer advice and guidance where required.”
