Specialist surface coater and metal finisher the Anochrome Group has enhanced its capabilities in the Czech Republic with significant investment in new machinery.
The new Sidasa ZTR 16+ dip spin technology line has been fully installed at Anocote CR – part of the Anochrome Group – and is currently undergoing final testing.
The huge centrifuge machine offers planetary and tilting systems operated autonomously by robot, with an impressive capacity of five tonnes per hour.
The line has two independent ovens and can process two different surface coatings at the same time, as well as offering the option of dip drain.
Jiří Vyčítal, General Manager at Anocote CR in Hradec Králové, said: “After many months of planning and preparation, we are now in the final stages of building the new line and we are almost ready for commissioning.
“Dry tests have been carried out and the ovens are now fully optimised. Tests with paints will soon be completed before the final software and finishing work on the technological sections of the line gets underway.
“This is a significant investment for the business that will allow us to greatly increase the quantity of parts we process for our customers, while allowing us to branch out into new markets and sectors.”
The Sidasa ZTR 16+ dip spin machine provides uniformed coating every time, without the risk of hydrogen embrittlement.
The robot first loads the parts into baskets and submerges them into the 1,000mm paint tank.
The parts are then spun at high speed using a dual-motor centrifuge. A central axis rotates three baskets simultaneously, while individual motors spin each basket on its own axis. This results in true planetary motion, with continuous, multi-directional rotation and no dead zones.
Robots finally move the parts into the high temperature ovens for curing.
