Czech Republic coatings expert increases capacity and capabilities with new investments

Fast-growing Czech Republic coatings expert Anocote Ltd has opened a new preparation line as part of investment that will significantly increase capacity and capabilities.

Following a rigorous testing period, Anocote is currently moving all cleaning and pre-treatment operations to the new BAT (Best Available Technology) line, which includes two robots.

Parts will be chemically cleaned, shotblasted and degreased by automated machines before progressing to the second line for coating.

The old cleaning lining, which has been operational since Anocote’s formation in 2006, will remain in place as a back-up for a month before being removed.

Towards the beginning of 2026, a new multi-functional BAT dip-spin line will be commissioned as part of the group’s investment strategy.

Jiří Vyčítal, General Manager at Anocote, said: “This new environmentally superior, efficient pre-treatment automatic line will consistently produce higher quality finishes for our customers.

“It will streamline our processes and will increase our capacity by around 50%.

“Early next year, we look forward to introducing our new finishing line, which will again improve our capacity, competitiveness and the service we are able to offer our valued customers, many of whom have been with us for almost 20 years.

“We are a thriving business and we’re delighted to be making these sizable investments.”

Further improvements have been implemented, including the introduction of a barcoding system for all parts and processes.

Enhancements have also been made to Anocote’s production facilities, including new concrete floors and skylights.

Anocote serves the Czech Republic and surrounding territories, including Germany, Austria and Poland.

The business’ primary market is automotive fasteners and parts, but its coatings are also used in agriculture, renewable energy and construction.
