Anochrome invests in new centrifuge technology at Czech Republic site
Anochrome Group has strengthened its surface coating capabilities with the installation of a state-of-the-art Sidasa ZTR 16+ dip spin technology line at Anocote CR in the Czech Republic. The significant investment will increase production capacity, enhance automation through robotic handling, and enable the processing of multiple coating systems for customers across a wide range of industries.

Anotec promotes Mark Smith to General Manager
Anotec, part of the Anochrome Group, has appointed Mark Smith as General Manager. Having progressed through a series of leadership roles since joining the business in 2019, Mark's promotion reflects his commitment to operational excellence, team development, continuous learning, and driving future growth across the company.
Laser cleaning capacity hits half a tonne at WEP
An industry-first bulk laser cleaning machine is already processing up to half a tonne of parts per hour, just two months after its introduction - while reducing carbon emissions by around a third.
Earlier this year Wolverhampton Electro Plating (WEP), part of the Anochrome Group, became the first industrial user in the world to invest in groundbreaking new laser technology for cleaning and pre-treatment of nuts, bolts and parts.
Anochrome Group achieves cybersecurity accreditation
Anochrome Group has successfully achieved Cyber Essentials accreditation across all its UK sites, demonstrating robust cybersecurity systems and processes. The milestone strengthens customer confidence and supports the company’s continued growth in key sectors such as defence and aerospace, with plans already underway to achieve the more advanced Cyber Essentials Plus certification.
