Rimlex® Seals for Fastener Protection
Rimlex® offers a cost-effective and high-quality peripheral seal, supplied by the Anochrome Group. Often used in place of more expensive sealing washers, it is applied to the underhead bearing surface of bespoke fasteners and other parts.
It can be applied to most electroplated finishes, together with aluminium, brass, stainless steel and organic coatings.
Rimlex® can be pre-applied, away from the assembly area, which helps ensure consistently robust joints. These dry films are then highly-visible, elastic and non-hardening.
- Rimlex® 310 is a room-temperature vulcanising (RTV) silicone sealant, specifically developed for high-temperature applications.
- Rimlex® 600Y is a two-part epoxy-based resin system, designed for use as a compression seal.
- Rimlex® 620B is a soft single-part, heat cure, polyurethane resin system. It is specifically designed for use as a compression seal.
