Recent investments have transformed the business – and lowered both our electricity and gas usage significantly.
The new rack acid zinc line at Anochrome Ltd alone has reduced electricity by around 20%, chemical usage and has decreased water consumption substantially.
The installation of a heat recovery device at Anocote Poland has not only reduced energy usage but also uses excess heat to warm the production hall during winter.
A new robotic cleaning and blasting line at Anocote Czech Republic, meanwhile, has eliminated gas altogether and reduced electricity consumption.
We’re not done yet, with plans for major carbon-busting investments over the next five years.
