Specialist Lubricated Coatings for Electroplated Finishes
We can provide an all-over coating of lubricants/waxes, such as Gleitmo, Torque N Tension, Finigard and A3 wax, via a barrel dip-spin process after coating.
Electroplated and colloidal coatings for torsional applications are normally modified in some way by the addition of a top-coat wax or lubricant.
For more specialist applications, such as Taptite or thread-forming screw, omniTECHNIK precote® Top 300 may be specified and supplied directly by Inlex.
It is ideal for particular applications, such as reducing noise generated when inserting certain types of fasteners. Similarly it may be specified for reducing the initial installation torque, where the wax coating requirement is for only part of the fastener thread. This can ensure the co-efficient of friction value for the fastener remains as required.
