This advanced process reduces labour costs, especially on bulk orders, and is fast, highly accurate and non-destructive way to remove any defective items.

Through optical sorting Inlex can process headed bolts, screws and fasteners. Our equipment can check products for cracks, specific defects and thread height: everything except full dimensional inspection.

How Optical Sorting Technology Works

Our digital optical sorting equipment uses reflected light to analyse items to extremely close tolerances. Defects are detected and isolated with advanced optical filters and low-friction chutes or conveyor belts.

The vision system uses the reflected light to compare the differences between acceptable and rejected products.

Automatic screening equipment can also be used to count parts and remove contaminants from a batch by means of a significant characteristic.
