How it Works

EMI coatings are used in a range of sectors, including medical equipment, military devices, telecommunications, automotive and aerospace. They are also applied to consumer electronics such as mobile phones.
Electromagnetic shielding offers many manufacturers a relatively quick and cost-effective solution to EC conformance issues.
Coatings are typically made of conductive materials such as copper, silver, and nickel. Thickness can vary widely, depending on the end use of the product.
