Xylan® Topcoat for Fastener Protection
International paint and coating producer PPG supplies Anochrome with its Xylan® 5230 Black — a premium, chrome-free fluoropolymer topcoat designed especially for fasteners and small components.
Xylan® 5230 provides uniform driving torque, excellent corrosion resistance and is fully compatible with automotive OEM standards.
Chrome-free and highly durable, it offers UV protection and is suited to decorative finishes. Strategically selected by Anochrome technologies and WEP, it can be applied by dip-spin or hand spraying.
Xylan’s operating temperature range makes it suitable for many environmental conditions, including automotive and wind energy, while its low-friction, non-oily finish supports consistent assembly performance.
