Our Sustainability
The Anochrome Group is committed to conducting business in a responsible, ethical and sustainable manner. Principles and practices are in place to guide our efforts to manage environmental impacts and foster sustainable responsibility across our six operating businesses.
It’s why many of our businesses have been granted the sought-after ISO 14001 accreditation in recognition of our robust environmental management systems and processes.
Significant investments in recent years have dramatically reduced energy usage. This has included improved ovens at Anotec, the installation of a heat recovery device at Anocote PL and a new robotic cleaning and blasting line at Anocote CR.
A new O-Ring Assembly Cell and oven have combined to cut gas usage at Inlex Locking, while seven-figure investment at Anochrome Ltd has resulted in fewer VOC emissions and reduced water usage.
Our Sustainable Goals:
- We support the use of affordable and renewable energy. We have actively encouraged our provider to supply at least 30% of the energy we use from renewable sources.
- Where possible, we promote sustainability and development goals with our supply chain partners.
- We endeavour to find innovative solutions and new technologies that enable sustainable consumption and production patterns. Along with acquiring a better understanding of the environmental and social impacts of the products and services we provide.
- We use innovation and design solutions that enable and inspire the Anochrome Group to encourage sustainability, thus, reducing impacts. Where possible, we will endeavour to reduce our emissions into the environment.
